Patented cutting tip, parabolic flute design, and high speed steel construction are combined in these drill bits ideal for the serious pen turner. The FCE Five Star cutting tip has four cutting points designed to create fine sawdust which reduces resistance and heat build-up. With less resistance and heat these bits have a longer life while maintaining their sharp cutting edges in soft and hard woods as well as acrylics. The parabolic flute design quickly ejects the fine sawdust eliminating the need to withdraw the bit until the hole has been drilled all the way through. Made in Germany.
